STOTT PILATES® Intensive and Advanced Programs
The Level 1 courses will teach you the Essential and Intermediate STOTT PILATES exercises and creates the framework for intelligent and midfull programming. Advanced Level 2 will give you a deeper understanding and additional framework to enhance your classes
Intensive Matwork-Plus
Building on your industry knowledge it teaches you to design and lead the Level 1 Essential and Intermediate STOTT PILATES® Matwork repertoire, for 1 to 1 or group training settings for a range of clients. You will leave with a solid foundation and required skills to develop effective and motivating Pilates Matwork programs.
Intensive Reformer
Building on your industry knowledge it teaches you to design and lead the Level 1 Essential and Intermediate STOTT PILATES Reformer repertoire for personal or group training settings for a range of clients. You will leave with a solid foundation and required skills to develop effective and motivating Pilates Reformer programs. While IR may be taken prior to IMP, we recommend completing IMP first.
Intensive Cadillac, Chair and Barrels
Students registering for this course must have completed STOTT PILATES® Intensive Mat Plus or Intensive Reformer. The Cadillac, Chair, & Barrels course has been structured into three separate modules; ICAD, ICHR and IBRL, to give you maximum flexibility. Completion of all three modules is required to be eligible for certification.
The Advanced (Level 2) program begins with a review of relevant Essential and Intermediate exercises, then students learn to apply STOTT PILATES® Biomechanical Principles to exercises that require a higher degree of strength, balance and coordination. These courses can be taken immediately after the corresponding Level 1 course or as a series of courses.
Exam Information: Once course is completed, your written and practical exam can be completed within 6 months.


Meet Your Lead Instructor Trainer
Merithew Lead Instructor Trainer
Saulo is passionate about Pilates, Biomechanics and Exercise Physiology. As he continues along his chosen career path, he is always searching for the latest news and innovations to keep himself up-to-date on the latest in mindfulness and fitness.
In 2006 he was introduced to the Pilates Method and it became his passion. By 2007 he was running his own Pilates studio.
In 2009 he discovered the STOTT PILATES® method. He decided to sell his Pilates studio in Rio de Janeiro and move to São Paulo to pursue his triaining in the method. In 2013 he became an Instructor Trainer for Merrithew® and then a Lead Instructor Trainer in 2017.
Saulo had a great experience living for a year and a half in the Middle East teaching STOTT PILATES®, GYROTONIC® and Total Barre®. In 2016, Saulo went on to specialise himself in the STOTT PILATES® method at the Corporate Training Centre, in Toronto, Canada before moving to London in 2020. Saulo continues to travel the world teaching STOTT PILATES® courses certifying new Pilates Instructors when needed. Saulo has now planted roots in the UK bringing all his wonderful knowledge and experience to local communities around the Oxfordshire and Northamptonshire areas.

Sole Pilates Terms and Conditons
1. Booking & Payment
The full course fee must be paid in full, 4 weeks before the start date of the course.
Your booking is only confirmed once full payment is received.
2. Entry Requirements
Each course has specific entry requirements such as previous experience, certifications and other courses completed. We ask that you fill the application form detailing your experience etc. This needs to be submitted 3 weeks after you have paid the deposit for the course
3. Course Attendance
You are required to attend all days of the course to be considered to have completed the course.
4. Refund Policy
All payments are non-refundable. No refunds will be issued for cancellations, no-shows, or partial attendance.
5. Direct Debit for Mat and Reformer Courses
If paying via a direct debit, then final payment must be completed 4 weeks before the course start date. Failure to complete direct debit payments before the course begins may result in loss of booking without a refund.
6. Course Transfers
Course transfers to another course date for the same person booked on to the course can be done as long as you let us know in writing at least 2 months before the course starts.
A change fee of £400 is required for changes between 8 and 4 weeks before course start. We cannot make changes after the 4 week deadline.
7. Cancellations & Changes
The company reserves the right to cancel or reschedule courses. In such cases, alternative arrangements to another course date or a credit will be offered.
Participants may not transfer their booking to another person without prior written approval.
8. Non-Attendance
If a participant fails to attend the course without prior notice, no refund or credit will be issued.
